“ Absolutely a surprise stop this trip. Delicious food, generous portions, great ambiance and friendly service. Highly recommend checking out this spot! Anyone staying overnight before or after a cruise, check this place out! Our entire family was pleasantly surprised! ”
“ 4 stars all around for service and food with great ambience 5 star ambience: it's a fantastic setting with plate glass windows facing Bayside Market and Biscayne Bay. You can also sit outside, but the street is busy and noisy...great tavern ambience inside with the view out the windows. 4 star food: their take on Eggs Benedict (pulled pork on Cuban bread with eggs and hollandaise) is inventive. The pricing was a little too high. 4 star service: No one was at the front desk despite the wait to be seated sign. After 10 minutes, I walked on in and told them: we'll be at that table, hehe. Same disappearance when it came check time...had to get them. Otherwise service was ok ”
“ Luis was amazing! We had breakfast at Biscayne before heading to the cruise port. They offer all you can eat breakfast for $25 + tax. This includes fresh eggs made any way as well as pancakes and waffles. I enjoyed a couple omelets, meat & fruit from the buffet! I ever got a complimentary mimosa for Checking in on Yelp!! ”
“ We showed up a little too early for check-in at YVE Hotel and were a tad delusional from the transit via Tri-Rail so we unwinded at the bar. Biscayne Tavern & Grill serves up a delicious Cuban Sandwich with fries. Perfect early day hangover munchies at 3pm before the Madonna concert at the Kaseya Center. It was a generous portion -- good for lunch and late-night dinner leftovers. We showed up in the same bar spot the next day at 10:45am before check-out and used our Welcome cocktail vouchers from the hotel for some Cuba Libre and vodka cranberries before the train ride home. It didn't stop there -- we also went with 2 caipirinhas and a lemon drop. We had Javier as our bartender on both occasions and he serves up some delicious cocktails. He was a lot of fun to introduce us to the downtown Miami vibe. Good times! ”
“ Outstanding food and service. Our table had the steak sandwiches, chicken sandwich, classic burger and bean burger all served with the Yuca Shrimp appetizer. All was outstanding. If in the area, this is a must stop!!! ”
“ A wonderful place in Biscayne boulevard at YVE hotel with the bayfront park view Place is decorated Caribbean themed, menu has variety with fish, seafood, chicken and steak I choose ciao pescao (mariquita crusted grouper with lemon wine sauce) recommended Crusty outside and flaky and tender interior revealed when your fork pull it apart. The camarones enchiladas also came beautifully presented with full of Caribbean flavors, Plumpy and tender shrimps Coconut rice on the side and tostones, can't ask for more. Mojitos to order while enjoying the wait to get the food to our table. And very attentive service, form the moment stepping into the restaurant Luis and Tomas provided a courteous and fine service Thanks a to both and my compliments to the chef. ”
“ ******* REVIEW 1900******* This quaint restaurant is located inside the YVE Hotel which is where we were staying in Miami when we went to see P!NK a couple of months ago. We were only suppose to be there one night, but hubby and I came down with something that started right before the concert and progressively got worse and worse. So bad, we ended up staying at the YVE for 6 nights because we just couldn't make the drive back to Orlando. We also didn't feel like going anywhere, so the Biscayne Tavern & Grill served for all of our meals the entire time we were there. Every morning except the last morning when we actually went into the restaurant and had the buffet, we ordered the Tavern Breakfast and hubby went downstairs to pick it up. SO.MUCH.FOOD. I was blown away by the portions. Definitely worth the money and the prices were quite reasonable. Our breakfast consisted of scrambled eggs, ham for me and bacon for the hubby, toast, and breakfast potatoes. Everything was wonderful every morning. The breakfast was out of this world. We tried so many things on the menu. Corn tamales, Mother Clucker sandwich, Caesar Salad, Tropical Chicken Breast, Bayside Meatloaf, Cuban Sandwich, and Key Lime Pie. Everything was wonderful and I would order any of the items we tried again and again. But... let me tell you about that Cuban Sandwich!! BOY O BOY! Best Cuban Sandwich I have ever had in my entire life. So good it makes me want to hop in the car right now and driver to Miami just to get a Cuban from here! OMG... my mouth is seriously watering right now! It's also huge - I'd advise sharing. Everything we ordered was hot, fresh, presented beautifully (even in take-out boxes), and each dish was enough for two people. I am honestly in shock at some of the negative reviews for this restaurant because I just can't imagine. Because we were there for a week, we ate at different times of the day every day and had different cooks and different employees boxing up our food, taking our order, etc. Everything was perfect. The service, the food, the prices. The food was so good, I thought I was eating at a really fancy restaurant. My only regret is I didn't take more photos of the food for y'all! If you find yourself in downtown Miami, do yourself a favor and pop in here for breakfast, lunch, or dinner (or all three!)! We'll see you again in April when we come for Madonna's concert! ”
“ Hugeee portions, fast service, cute atmosphere! I wish the menu had a little more variety and color but thats really my only con. Inside is more of a cafe not tavern or grille. Also great daily deals!! ”
